Stanford linguists at AMP 2019

The Linguistics Department at Stony Brook University hosted the 7th Annual Meeting on Phonology (AMP) on October 11-13, 2019. Alumna Stephanie Shih (Ph.D. '14, currently at USC) was an invited speaker for the event, presenting her talk entitled "The contribution of sound symbolism to phonological theory". Giorgio Magri (CNRS) and Arto Anttila (Stanford ) gave a tutorial on "CoGeTo: typological analysis for probabilistic phonology."
