Coterminal M.A. Program

Our Coterminal Master's Program develops students' knowledge of linguistics, preparing them for a professional career or doctoral study in linguistics or related disciplines.
This is achieved through completion of courses, including coursework in an area of specialization within the field, and experience with independent research in Linguistics.
For a complete list of program requirements, please see the Stanford Bulletin.
The department only accepts undergraduate students who are already enrolled at Stanford for the Coterminal M.A. degree.
