Rickford Inducted into National Academy of Sciences; Visits Cornell

Emeritus Professor John R. Rickford was formally inducted into the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. on April 30.  Afterward, he spent 11 days at Cornell University, where he holds an appointment as an A.D. White Professor-at-Large.  While visiting, he gave four talks and met with Linguistics undergraduate and graduate students about their work.
