Look Who's Talking: Jurafsky

Dan Jurafsky has recently returned from Copenhagen, where he gave a plenary talk titled "'Does This Vehicle Belong To You?' Processing the Language of Policing for Improving Police-Community Relations" at the Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing, held September 7-11. 

Earlier this summer, with co-authors Reid Pryzant and Yung-joo Chung, Dan presented "Predicting Sales from the Language of Product Descriptions" at the SIGIR Workshop on eCommerce on August 11 in Tokyo, Japan.
