A festschrift in Rickford's honor!

Congratulations to John R. Rickford! A four-volume festschrift, tentatively titled "The Routledge Companion to John Rickford", has been dedicated to him. The festschrift, containing 47 articles and 9 vignettes by faculty colleagues and former students, is edited by Renee Blake (Ph.D. '97) and Isa Buchstaller and is planned for publication in May 2019.

The volume was presented to John after his plenary address at the New Way of Analyzing Variation (NWAV) conference in October. The photo featured shows John at the podium, with the four volumes stacked high right next to him!
