Field Methods Workshop

This quarter, in place of our usual schedule of talks and papers, we'll be holding a Field Methods Workshop for both undergrads and grad students. We will meet once a week for 90 minutes, including a 60 minute elicitation with a native Czech speaker. The workshop will focus on software, tools, and methods for gathering novel linguistic data, analyzing and organizing the data, producing linguistic and theoretical descriptions of the language, and compiling a dictionary. The workshop should be of interest to anyone who wants hands-on experience with language description and documentation.
