Margaret Kroll, a recent UCSC Ph.D., is joining the department as a Lecturer this academic year to fill in while Judith Degen takes a well deserved sabbatical.  Margaret will be teaching Linguist 145/245A Introduction to Psycholinguistics in the Autumn and Linguist 245B Methods in Psycholinguistics in the Spring.  She is interested  in  theoretical and psycholinguistic questions in semantics and pragmatics.

We also are pleased to welcome back two of our former Lecturers: Katherine Hilton and Ksenia Ershova, who is also a Mellon Postodoc.
