Volume in honor of Eckert published

The book Social Meaning and Linguistic Variation: Theorizing the Third Wave was published by Cambridge University Press in August.  This volume presents a set of papers on third wave sociolinguistics in Penny Eckert’s honor and is edited by three of her former students: Lauren Hall-Lew (Ph.D. ’09), Emma Moore, and Rob Podesva (Ph.D. ’06).
