Robert Xu and Nala Lee presented their research at the New Ways of Analyzing Variation - Asia Pacific 4 (NWAV-AP4) 2016 conference hosted in Chiayi, Taiwan from April 22-24:

• Robert Xu, in collaboration with undergrad alum and former postdoc Patrick Callier, presented "Exploring Prosodic Variability of Character Types in Mainland Mandarin"
• Nala Lee presented "How Quantitative Perceptual Methods Illuminate a Coarse-Refined Contrast in an Endangered Creole"
