In the Media: Demszky

A recent Stanford Report article, titled “Feedback from an AI-driven tool improves teaching, Stanford-led research finds”, features the work of recent alum Dora Demszky (Ph.D. ’22), who is now an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Education.  Her study—which includes Dan Jurafsky as a co-author—involves an automated tool that gives instructors feedback on their interactions with students.  In July the work will be presented at the Learning at Scale conference at the University of Copenhagen.

Dora will also participate in a panel on “ChatGPT, Generative AI, and the Future of Teaching and Learning”, which will take place next Thursday, May 25 in CEMEX Auditorium as part of the 2022-23 Annual Meeting of the Academic Council. Her contribution to the panel is mentioned in this Stanford Report article.
