Adolfo Hermosillo and Evelyn Fernandez-Lizarraga gave a talk titled “Constructing Corpora for Interactional Sociopragmatics Research” at the 54th Linguistic Symposium on Romance Language, which was held on May 9-12, 2024 at Brigham Young University. 

Alumnus Scott Schwenter (Ph.D. ’98) gave a plenary talk titled “Why (not) 2PL? Thoughts on a class of snubbed address forms across Romance”.
