Look Who's Talking: Stanford Linguists at Hoffman-Yee Symposium

Several members of the Linguistics faculty figured among the presenters of the Hoffman-Yee Symposium held here at Stanford on September 21-22.  The Symposium showcased the inaugural recipients of Hoffman-Yee Research Grants, who presented the results of their research to date and their plans for the future.

Judith Degen and Chris Potts, as well as Courtesy faculty members Mike Frank and Noah Goodman, were among the presenters on their project “Toward Grounded, Adaptive Communication Agents”

Dan Jurafsky was among the presenters of “An AI ‘Time Machine’ for Investigating the History of Concepts”
