Look Who’s Talking: Coppock and Jasbi

Experiments in Linguistic Meaning (ELM 3) was recently held on June 12-14, 2024 at the University of Pennsylvania. Alumna Elizabeth Coppock (Ph.D. ’09) was a co-author on a poster titled “Ordering is not ranking: A study of ordinals vs. degree modifiers in nested definites”. Alumnus Masoud Jasbi (Ph.D. '18) was a co-author on two talks titled “The Effect of Experimental Paradigms on Scalar Implicature Estimation” and “Quantifying Non-Implicature Sources of Disjunction Exclusivity”.
