Ph.D. student Lily Clifford, who is currently on leave to found Rime Labs, was the speaker at this month’s Bay Area NLP Meetup on March 16, organized by department alum Rob Monarch (Ph.D. ’12).  Lily’s talk was titled “What is a language model… what is it not? What is speech... what can it be?”
