Every year the Department has several TA positions that benefit many Department members.  Here are those filling these roles this academic year:

  • Corpus TA: Nay San (serves as a consultant related to use of corpora and the department’s corpus collection)
  • Lab TA: William Clapp (serves as a consultant on issues related to carrying out experimental work; coordinates the department subject pool and IRB)
  • Mentor TA: Lewis Esposito (serves as a resource to all Linguistics TAs and co-leads the Autumn Quarter Teaching Pedagogy workshop for 2nd year graduate students)
  • Undergraduate Mentor: Yiwei Luo (leads Linguist 196, Introduction to Research for Undergraduates, and serves as a resource to undergraduates about the major, minor, and research projects they may want to carry out)

We thank all of them for being willing to take on these important roles!
