HAI Blog Features Work of Kreiss et al.

A recent Stanford HAI blog post "Creating a More Accessible Internet: Context Matters" covers Ph.D. student Elisa Kreiss's research on making images more accessible online.   Others collaborating on this project include:  Cynthia Bennett, Shayan Hooshmand, Eric Zelikman, Meredith Ringel Morris, and Christopher Potts. The paper describing this work, "Context Matters for Image Descriptions for Accessibility: Challenges for Referenceless Evaluation Metrics", was accepted at this year's Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP) conference.
