The ALPS Lab will host three undergraduate research interns this summer, who will work on projects supervised by current Ph.D. students in the department.

  • CSLI intern James Tang will work with Bran Papineau, analyzing social media uptake of pronouns after celebrity trans coming out events.
  • CSLI intern Ruoqing Yao will work with Jiayi Lu, testing hypotheses about varying rates of satiability of different sentence types.
  • SymSys Major Angelique Charles-Davis will work with Brandon Waldon, investigating the production of redundant referring expressions in French.
